2010-2011 School Information Synopsis

· 2010-2011 School Year Fall Semester begins Sunday, September 12th, 2010, 2:00 P.M.  Registration will be in the cafeteria from 1:30–4 P.M.  A late registration fee applies beginning the 4^th week.  New students please come no later than 1:30 P.M. so we can meet with and help you complete your registration.  Continuing students should arrive by 1:45 P.M. 

· Tuition: 

(A). $175 per student per semester (includes Language and Cultural Classes)

(B). $160 per student per semester for the second student and up from the same family

(C). Extra-curricular activities:      

Parents:       2:00 – 6:00 P.M.; Fee Paid directly to Clubs

Students:       5:00 – 6:00 P.M.; varies, please contact Extra-Curricular Director

· Class schedule:

2:00 – 3:00 P.M.            1^st Period

3:10 – 4:00 P.M.            2^nd Period

4:10 – 5:00 P.M.            Cultural Classes

5:00 – 6:00 P.M.            Extra-curricular Activities

· Additional Notice: Mei-Hwa Chinese School is a Parent-Owned Non-Profit Organization and relies on its members to carry out all activities.  All members must volunteer to help during the semester for activities such as teaching assistance, ringing end-of-period bells, copying homework and patrolling school grounds.  School will collect a $20 service deposit at the beginning of each semester. Parents who completed those services will get a refund in the form of gift certificate.
